Lindon Bennett School

Spiders

This term spider’s class have enjoyed exploring our different topics- People who help us, and growing.

We had a busy month of looking at different festivals and special days including Mother’s day, Red Nose day, World Book day and Easter.

We finished the term by celebrating Easter. We had a fun time decorating cards and creating designs to send home. We also made some yummy chocolate cakes and had an Easter egg hunt at school which was lots of fun!

Now that the children are well and truly settled at Lindon Bennett, we look forward to extending their learning further to achieve their next steps. We will also be working on their independence in daily routines such as washing their hands, brushing their teeth and taking off their own coats and shoes. We continue to support the development of the children’s communication skills, such as using symbols to make more requests throughout the day.

We enjoy reading your comments in the home/school diaries and the ‘At home I did something great slips’ which we add to your child’s journal so please keep communicating with us through them.
