Zebras

Zebras class had a busy and exciting Spring term with lots of wonderful, new learning experiences. In English we focused on two delightful stories: ‘Around the World in Eighty Days’ and ‘The Snail and the Whale’.  What a pleasure it was, seeing the children join in the reading and hearing them sing along heartily. They certainly enjoyed the stories. Maths lessons are always fun with a range of creative activities to cover our topics.  We learnt about shapes, colour, time, measure and number and tried our very best in all our lessons. Our classroom is always a hive of activity during Creative/Thematic lessons. We love painting, colouring and creating beautiful pieces of art. Our class staff is always proud of our efforts and it is encouraging to see our work displayed around the classroom.

Our absolute favourite has to be cooking! We look forward each week to seeing what sumptuous treats are on the menu. This term, made food from different countries including many sweet and savoury snacks. We learnt new skills and of course the best part was the eating!

We in Zebras, are looking forward to the Summer Term when we will be learning all about Sport and Leisure. There are some super trips lined up to look forward to and to extend our outdoor learning. We will also participate in sports activities with our friends. It promises to be great fun.
